Our grant to the Council on Aging fostered the initiation of a pilot volunteer drivers program to address the transportation needs of seniors in our community who are unable to drive. In the first month, 25 volunteer drivers signed up to drive Wellesley seniors to medical appointments, cultural events and social outings.
